Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Born the only child to Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business from a young age. By the time she was 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous television dramas. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one.
